Online Ordering

Sterling has over 250 products available for order online, 120 are ready-to-ship and can be found under the Fast Ship category!

Payment

  • Sterling Fleet Outfitters will cover the costs of duties incurred and complete any required custom documents. We require your Federal Tax ID for US Customs and may require you to complete additional forms if there are any discrepancies with US Customs system. Sterling Fleet does not charge taxes on any orders shipping into the United States, you will be responsible to claim and pay appropriate State taxes if applicable. If you do not list your Tax ID this can cause delays in shipping of your product.

     

  • We accept Visa and Mastercard. All transactions will be completed in Canadian Dollars.

Return Policy

  • In the event you wish to cancel your order, contact us immediately (1-888-214-0333). If the product has been shipped, you will be responsible for returning the product, and a 15% restocking fee will incur. If the product has not been shipped/collected from us, there is no cancellation fee.

  • Products that are purchased online can be returned within 30 days of purchase and will incur a 15% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return/refund, items are to be opened within 24 hours of arrival to inspect for damages and contact Sterling by phone or email. Returned items must be in “New/unused” condition and with original packing where applicable. A copy of the original receipt must accompany returned item(s). All return shipping fee costs incurred are the responsibility of the buyer, unless in the instance of damaged goods.

Shipping

  • Yes. A delivery to a residential address will incur an additional cost of $55. Please note depending on the item ordered there could be an additional cost for tailgate charges. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out to a team member at Sterling.

  • Fast Ship (Guaranteed In-Stock) Products

    If your order contains products that are Guaranteed In-Stock; For Canadian online orders, we offer next day ship out (within 24 hours), and within 48 hours for USA online orders, on all orders placed between Monday-Thursday, before 5pm PST. For orders placed on Friday, the weekend & holidays, orders will be shipped the next business day.

    Non-Guaranteed In-Stock Products

    For all Canadian and USA orders, products that are not currently in-stock will incur a max lead time of approx. 12 business days to arrive at our facility (upon ordering, you will be provided with a parts ETA to Sterling Fleet Outfitters Facility). Once your product arrives at our facility; Canadian online orders, will be next day ship out (within 24 hours), and within 48 hours for USA online orders. Once your product is packaged and ready for ship out, you will receive a tracking number. Please note: Lead times may be shorter as we do try and hold a wide range of stocked items.

    Ordering a mix of Guaranteed & Non-Guaranteed In-Stock Products

    If your order includes a mix of both Guaranteed & Non-Guaranteed In-Stock products, your order will be shipped when all stock becomes available at our facility (max 12 business days), upon ordering, you will be provided with a parts ETA to Sterling Fleet Outfitters Facility. Once your product arrives at our facility; Canadian online orders, will be next day ship out (within 24 hours), and within 48 hours for USA online orders. Once your product is packaged and ready for ship out, you will receive a tracking number. Please note: Lead times may be shorter as we do try and hold a wide range of stocked items.

    Shipping Disclaimer:
    While we aim to ship your items within the given timeframe, large quantity orders may take extra time to package for shipout. If there are any issues, a Sterling Fleet Outfitters staff member will be in contact.

     

  • Absolutely!  You will receive an e-mail letting you know that your order is ready for pickup. Please proceed straight to our shipping/receiving door and bring a copy of your invoice.

Slip-in Capsules

Product Details

  • Sterling’s slip-in capsules are compatible with most domestic pick up trucks and can be transferred to a different model as long as it has the same bed length.

  • Yes. Sterling’s capsules come with a 10-year warranty.

  • Sterling’s capsules are for commercial use and come with basic upfit packages.

  • Our slip-in capsule upfit packages come with backup cameras that are located above the rear door and utilize your truck’s existing screen.

  • The weight depends on the size and upfit package and can range from 385lbs for our smallest cab-height capsule to 1500lbs for our largest full-height capsule with upfit. The weight for each cap can be found under Additional Information on the product page.

Installation

  • The slip-in capsules are installed with a heavy-duty mounting kit designed to withstand off-road and urban environments. With a life-span of more than 10 years, they are ideal for fleets using leased vehicles or if a purchased vehicle it being retired. You will need to purchase a new mounting kit from Sterling for approximately $300. The process of transferring the slip-in capsule take about a day to remove the old mounting kit and disconnect electrical and then mount on the new truck. Some customers do it themselves if they have their own shop and others hire a local mechanic transfer the unit.

    Note: you will need access to a forklift with long forks. A Sterling representative will be happy to answer any question you may have.

  • Yes. We ship slip-in capsules complete with the upfit package to customers throughout North America. Some are able to install themselves or they find a local shop to install on the truck. We will provide detailed installation instructions which can be found through a decal with a QR code located on the inside door of the capsule.

    Note: you will need access to a forklift with long forks.
