Some have a single vehicle while others operate large fleets, but whether big or small, they all rely on the innovative thinking and quality workmanship we offer.

Since we were launched in 2002, we’ve expanded to become Western Canada’s premier commercial vehicle outfitter and recognized throughout North America. We owe much of our 20 years of success to the efforts of our smart, efficient, and hardworking team members. As part our of our goals for growth we are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function and build our marketing team.

About the Role:

This role involves supporting and scaling our marketing process to grow sales. You will work closely with our senior leadership and management teams to drive the growth and success of Sterling. You will also be collaborating with our sales, operations and product development team bringing new innovative products to our customers. We’re a family business with big goals, where everybody is involved and teamwork is key to execution. There is no place for bureaucracy and egos. You will execute and hone the Sterling Brand strategy to expand Sterling’s leadership position in the market.

What you will do:

● Branding strategy development for overall Company, Sub Brands & New Product Introductions

● Annual Marketing Plan & Budgets

● Marketing content creation through product and company marketing videos, social media, newsletters, blogs, case studies/testimonials/customer interviews and referrals.

● Grow and nurture Customer relationships in conjunction with sales

● Support sales with presentations or “sell packets” as requested and ensure the showroom is up to date with brochures and sales materials

● Brand protection, trademarking, management, and creation of graphics in coordination with the marketing team.

● Maintain and grow Reviews & NPS program

● Website development and maintenance- SEM/SEO

● Create prospect lists

● Manage and select new contractors as needed for marketing specialty areas (website dev., salesforce integration, voice overs).

● Coordinate & Plan Trade Shows

 

Your Experience:

● Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, marketing, business, communications, or equivalent experience

● 5-10+ years marketing experience

● 4+ years in a leadership or management position

● Preferably experience in a search engine marketing position

● Experience with growing a company brand

● Proven record of tracking and improving results

● Experience with word press, google ads, adobe in design, and/or sales force is considered an asset
